Drachten / Westervoort – Altac Coating Group (Altac), the Dutch family business specializing in the supply of Paint, Nonpaint and equipment for the automotive, yacht and industrial sectors, completed the acquisition of Proving BV and Airo Nederland BV on 21 July.

Proving BV is an established distributor of paint and non-paint products in the central and eastern Netherlands, with strong brands such as PPG, MaxMeyer®, Selemix® and Dichem®. The acquisition fits within Altac’s strategy of being active nationwide with a regional presence and a high-quality product range.

With the acquisition of Airo Nederland BV, Altac Coating Group obtains the exclusive importership of the Airo brand in the Netherlands. Airo is best known for its high-quality fillers and supplies distributors, paint manufacturers and craft businesses. The acquisition fits within Altac’s strategy to broaden its B2B offering and strengthen its position in the filler segment.

Proving BV and Airo Nederland BV will continue to operate from Westervoort, with all employees transferring as part of the acquisition. The acquisition provides long-term certainty for both companies and opportunities to further expand their services.
